Michelle Southern

Biography

Michelle Southern is a novelist, currently earning her Creative Writing for Entertainment B.F.A. at Full Sail University. Her writing career began when she started journalism at Vidor High School where she wrote for the school newspaper and yearbook. She is projected to graduate Fall 2019. She writes both fiction and non-fiction. Her most recent publication is a self-published book titled, I've Always Wanted to do This. Her first published short story was in the Scarlet Leaf Review, December 2017 issue. As Director of Marketing at Rio Brazos Distillery, she has learned how to creatively tell a story with not only words but also images. Her adventures while traveling have given her a wide variety of source materials for her future books. A blogger, she has written instructional articles on paper crafts and artwork. In addition, she has written newsletters for the Wichita Falls Wildcats Booster Club, Yokota Middle School PTO, and her home-based businesses.
