Matthew Davenport lives in Des Moines, Iowa with his beautiful wife, Ren. Together they enjoy geocaching and watching horror movies. In his spare time Matt likes biking, drinking, reading, and writing. Only once in a while does he do it all at the same time. His writings are cross-spectrum aiming to be serious and silly while still telling a compelling story. His writings have been mostly short stories until 2011 when he decided to jump into the world of novels with Random Stranger being his first full-length book.
His published novels include Random Stranger and Stranger Books, both of the "Abstract Series," as well as The Trials of Obed Marsh, a prequel to H. P. Lovecraft's Shadow Over Innsmouth.
