Sarah Tanzmann was born in Tyrol, Austria, where she grew up in a small town. At the age of about 12, Sarah discovered her love for reading when she was given “Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix” as a present. About two years later, she started her first attempt in writing. Back then all of her texts were in German. But her spirits were dampened when her stories didn’t find an echo and so she abandoned writing.
After spending a year in America, she returned to writing, but this time in English. At first it were shorter texts, but soon she began working on her first YA fiction novel. While juggling a full time studies and a part-time job, Sarah uses every second of spare time to work on her stories. In this process she finds company in her group of fellow English writers, who have also become her friends along the way.
Her first novel will be titled Seelie Princess.
