When did you first start writing?
I first started writing when I was 13. Fan fiction was my poison, and I still occasionally write it to this day out of boredom or when I'm having a mental block with my other writing.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
1. Z?. It is a graphic novel written and illustrated by Johnen Vasquez filled with perverse and dark humor. I love the imagery and the story, dark as it is, has some very heart felt moments and hilarious ones as well. 2. Burn Journals by Brent Runyon was the first autobiography I ever read and enjoyed. I cried and laughed throughout the book and connected with the author in a way I never thought possible. 3. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Ahser is another book I really connected with. I read it in high school during a period of my life where I did contemplate suicide and to read that story and just how much the main characters death affected everyone helped me see how much others would miss me if I was gone. 4. The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx was an experience. My older brother was into heroin and other drugs like Nikki and I've seen first hand what they can do to a person. Reading about Nikki's struggle and his recovery was an amazing read and I recommend it to everyone. 5. The Crow written and illustrated by James O'barr. Ever since I can remember I had a fascination with the movie The Crow. When I discovered it was based off of a graphic novel I had to find it and I was not disappointed when I did. The art work is beautiful, the story heart breaking, and the ending was very satisfying.
The Buckmin family has been feeding the deer that reside around their home in the woods. When they don't have any food the deer turn on the family and rip them apart one by one. The parents are the first to go and their three teenaged sons try to escape. Only one escapes but in his panic he crashes his car, leaving no one alive.
