Glenis Stott

Biography

Glenis Stott lives in Lancashire with her husband and two black cats. She began writing
when her daughter died in 1999. At first it served to help her with her loss but, in time,
she began to enjoy writing for its own sake. In 2006 she obtained the MA Creative
Writing (online) from Manchester Metropolitan University. Currently she is working on a
novel about how, in 1905, her great-grandmother ran off to America taking only one of
her eight children with her.
