Smashwords Interview

How do you approach cover design?
I use Canva and create the covers myself. Sometimes I just use whatever templates suit my feel of the book. I'd LOVE to have someone do this work for me but, in all honesty, I'm poor and can't pay them.
What are [some of your] favorite books, and why?
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Fat Girl in a Strange Land (anthology)

Why? Something Black, something fantastical, and something fat--things that have very little good representation in the media.
