What's the story behind your latest book?
I'm working on a biography of Bishop Arnold Harries Mathew who died in 1919. I started this work some years ago and never quite finished. I'm now working hard again to complete the work which includes original research from the archives in London. The bishop wasn't a particularly spiritual man although he did have a real effect on Anglican thought in the early 20th century
Marcello Soli is a man admired by other men. Marcello is charismatic and a natural leader of men. Tall, dark and handsome he has been through the battles and wars of the late 16th Century. Wounded and injured the older Marcello becomes a merchant in silks, spices and fine wines before settling in the City of Valletta or Città Umilissima.
