Susan Schaefer Bernardo

Susan Bernardo and Courtenay Fletcher are an author-illustrator team committed to creating books to engage, heal and inspire kids of all ages. The Big Adventures of Tiny House is their third book! In 2012, they indie published their first book, Sun Kisses, Moon Hugs, a lyrical picture book to reassure kids that love connects us forever, even if we are separated from our loved ones. That project led to a wonderful collaboration with LeVar Burton on a book to help kids cope with traumatic events, The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm. Rhino has been on an incredible journey since being published by Reading Rainbow in 2014 it won the Golden Ippy, was read aloud by First Lady Michelle Obama to military kids, and is currently orbiting the planet aboard the International Space Station as part of the innovative Storytime from Space program. Yes, Susan and Courtenay have A BOOK IN SPACE!
