I've always enjoyed books. They're like a window into another reality that I can't wait to dive into. During my Freshman year in high school, I decided I wanted to create my own world. And while that one is still a work in progress four years later, I'm dipping an ink covered quill into all kinds of other worlds.
Who are your favorite authors?
It's difficult for me to choose just one author at any given time, but at the moment, I would have to say Cassandra Clare. I absolutely adore her writing style and the way she brings her diverse characters to life.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Usually I wake up with a story idea/addition in mind; it's what I do with most, if not my entire, day. Writing is the most liberating, the most fun, the most amazing thing I've done in my short life. I am inspired by the words and the characters that breathe on my pages.
Maya's life used to be great; then her father disappeared and everything shattered. Years after the disappearance, Maya kept herself occupied with her best friend, Jeremy. But when her reality collides with her dreams, Maya becomes lost in the world her sleeping eyes conjure.
On the return journey of a trip to her birthplace, Lady Shaw, Captain of the most feared pirate ship to ever sail the seas, is presented with two clues. Someone wants her to find them, but who is it? Sail with the Captain as she scours her brain and the seas in search of her secret messenger.

Oh my lord!
Read the whole thing in one sitting.
The right amount of lust mixed with a perfect amount of comedy. Cannot wait to get my hands on Book 2!
(I think Purple Pen is going to be my catch phrase from now on.)
