Susan Webb grew up in Des Moines Iowa and now lives in one of the few remaining blue collar beachside communities of central Florida. She has written short stories and poetry for most of her life but has only recently decided to share her work. She studied creative writing at Grandview College and American literature at the East Carolina University. In the mid 1980’s she hitch-hiked from the mid-west to the western coast of the US. The 1990’s brought additional travels to the east coast and the deep south with her military husband. Friends, and strangers who became friends, have shaped her writing and guided her words.
