This novel is not what it pretends to be. On the surface it seems like your typical urban fantasy but it’s really a literary thesis on the state of modern literature. It is a brilliant chimerical work with parts from every literary device imaginable. It also has one of the most interesting gay characters I have ever read in a fantasy novel.
