Cute story and quick to read. It is clear that the author did some good research on computers or software code, or he is himself very knowledgeable about it. Despite all the suffering, that John has to endure and him nearly suffocating, one never feels any sympathy for the bank robber. If he wasn’t so giddy due to lack of oxygen, he could simply have held up the staff when they opened the door and escaped. Everything is understandable and easy to ready, but an outside editor can help author find some grammar and spelling mistakes. Definitely a three out of five. Recommended.

I enjoyed this story. It is a fun story and should be read for fun. There are intentional funny parts in this story, for eg. where the protagonist is chosen as the leader. Whereas other members nominated and voted for themselves, he was the only one chosen by the others without actually being interested in being leader. And as you continue reading you see with good cause, because he is the only one always asking: What do we do now? (A sure sign of a born leader :) The story is about zombies and a group of non-zombified citizen who try to flee from the zombies and now and then have to fight them. (As if you couldn’t have guessed that.) I recommend this story for anyone who looks for something light and fun to read.
  • Gunshots In The Night on Sep. 10, 2016

I recommend this story for lovers of all out action thrillers. It goes from one action packed scene to the next. I must add that, there are unfortunately lots of exposition as well as backstory, but it is necessary to understand the action. The story starts in the middle of the action, after all, and there is no other way to do it. In addition, it is clear that the author tried to make the exposition exciting, so the reader never needs to skip sections. The protagonist is an out of work Cape Flats township girl, Jacira Adams. She was born in the Cape Flats and when the gangsters attack, she has to protect her mother and younger sister. Her father was some important figure in the township, but the story never makes it clear in what way. Then something happens to her sister that starts the clock ticking. Tick-tock. The violence goes into overdrive. The truth is peeled away layer by layer and more and more is revealed of Jacira Adams. The antagonist is a Cape Flats gangster, big, strong, very intelligent, and ambitious to the extreme. It is his master plan that kicks off the crisis, which brings Jacira into the action. “You woke up the proverbial sleeping dog.” He is later told when he realises his mistake. I would have read the story in one sitting, but couldn’t due to the length. It always kept me on an edge, though. The ending of the final confrontation could have been better and for some people it might be disappointing, but I’m sure the author has a follow up in mind. For some it might be too emotional, but it connects to the opening chapter of the story. This does not mean there are any lose ends; everything is concluded. This indie author must think of getting a line-editor. Some things are over explained, but that does not take away from the joy of reading it and most readers won’t even notice it. The Cape Flats sounds like an “interesting” place – if it is like the author describes it. This story is recommended and I give it a three and a half out of five.
  • Into the Sea: An Erotic Short on Sep. 11, 2016

I enjoyed this story. It is unusual, but very easy to read. The erotic part is over quick, but it is very well written. I recommend this story and give it a three and a half out of five.
  • Fright Night II on Sep. 18, 2016

I like this book. Every story is a shocker. The stories are bite sized and quick to read. But most importantly, this is horror in its unadulterated form. Well written and recommended. Definitely a five out of five...
  • Tender Mercy on Sep. 22, 2016

I enjoyed Tender Mercy. It is a bit different than your usual erotic fare. It starts out quite ordinary with a young girl being picked up by a rich old man. He takes her to his luxury abode where they make sweet love. Then the tone of the story changes completely as she wakes up in darkness, tied up. This is not your usual BDSM, but a bit more on the dark side. I won't say it is a unforgettable story, but it is well written and the actual sex scenes are well done, hardly leaving anything to the imagination. Very realistic. I will give this story a three out of five.
