The book was constantly moving with multiple views from different characters. Admittedly, prefer the focus of centering around one main character. However, it goes along with the underline theme of the story. "It takes more than one person to win a war." The characters are rich a fairly three dimensional. This is especially true with Jason. The author shows how Jason learns to balance his new life, love, and faith in the midst of constant tragedy.
****Warning for the soft hearten this can be a tear-jerkier at times****
I rated 4/5 only be because the author went out on a few unnecessary tangents with no real value to the story.
