This Same Earth: An Elemental Vampire Fantasy Novel

A fantastic sequel that delves further into the minds of the characters so brilliantly drawn out in A Hidden Fire. The diary entries were a fantastic way to bring us up-to-date for the 5 year lapse between books. Beatrice's fear of abandonment comes to light gradually with her reluctance to let Gio back into her life and keeping her latest boyfriend Mano at arm's length. Although she has carved out a nice, quiet life for herself after finishing her graduate studies. She subconsciously yearns for a more exciting life. If she didn't she would cut all ties with the few Vampires she acquainted with like our favourite Welsh priest and ancient luddite assassin. I'll definitely be waiting with bated breath for the next installment.
