J. Lynn Else first became interested in history in 1985 when the discovery of the RMS Titanic was national news. However, her favorite historical subject is ancient Egypt. She currently lives in Rochester, MN, with her husband, 2 kids, and 1 guinea pig. Find out more about her writing at: www.teasippinnerdymom.com. "Aten's Last Queen" is her first (self-published) book. Outside of reading voraciously and driving kids to multiple after-school activities, she enjoys a perfectly steeped cup of hot tea while honing her fruit ninja skills.
What do your fans mean to you?
I get SO excited to see I have a fan. As a self-published author, advertising is the worst! I'm thrilled and ever so grateful for the support of my family and friends. So when I see a 'fan/follower' on one of my pages (Goodreads, Twitter, Google, etc), I'm literally jumping up and down. Its extremely gratifying to have people enjoy your work. Then to go the next step and say they're a fan of mine?? Wow... I thought only famous people had fans. ;)
Who are your favorite authors?
A few of the more popular ones include: Rick Riordan, J.K. Rowling, Mitch Albom, Michelle Moran
But I also love: Cornelia Funke, Jill Savage, Steven Saylor, Zoe Saadia, Nomi Eve, Tosca Lee, Elissa Elliott, Ariana Franklin, & the team of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
