This is a very quick read but one that is too mixed to be judged a great read. The story just isn’t coherent enough for my liking. I wouldn’t give it two thumbs up that’s for sure! As an escapist read, it was a quick one.

This was a cute story, whimsical, but cute.... I enjoyed it, but it didn't really grab me. If the story maybe had a bit more depth and length to it, I would've changed my mind.

Did you ever read a synopsis of something and wonder if you should read it, well the old adage "You can't judge a book by it's cover" holds true here. I was on the fence as to whether or not to read it and I am so glad I did. What a wonderfully told story of teenage angst amid the start of the AIDS era. I didn't want this to end, but quickly it did. I would love to hear more of how the story of Auntie and the Interviewer went after the end of the book. Is there a continuation of the story... I sure hope so. I would gladly read that too.
  • The Baby Pact (The Baby Pact Trilogy #1) on Jan. 28, 2022

I enjoyed the book but felt there were a few gaps in the storyline that kept it from being a cohesive read. The characters and plot though were very interesting and I look forward to reading more of this trilogy.

I really enjoyed this book. It left me wanting more... a very well-written book, the storyline was very engaging. Two demi-gods find their life mate and will go to any lengths to protect him, but he is the one who eventually saves them. I look forward to reading more in this series.
