Louise T. Sequoia
Biography
The author began her broadcast/writing career in jazz radio at KMHD in Portland, Oregon. There she created radio programs, public service announcements, and hosted live on-air jazz and blues shows. From there she went into radio news and worked as a reporter in the San Francisco Bay area and developed a journalism program at a Title I school. She has been an educator for the past fourteen years and has worked as an international teacher in China, Saudi Arabia and on the campus of Yale University.

It wasn’t a shotgun shack or a large automobile, but it was another part of the world.” I was on my own plan and didn’t want to go back to the USA. And so I end up in Saudi Arabia as a single American woman. There I discover people are not their government.
