I'm an artist primarily, but have always enjoyed stories, no matter what form they are in. I'm also a keen musician, and enjoyed both playing and watching live music. I'm also in the very early stages of developing a low budget film about a local legend.
I have always had a love for imagination, creativity, and any outlet that allows this, is certainly worth exploring. I enjoy swimming, cooking and socializing whenever possible.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've always been fascinated by stories, be it ghost stories around the camp fire, or grand epic space adventures. I've no formal qualifications, and it's not something I always wanted to do, I'm an artist primarily, but through reading books, comics, tv, film, music, poetry, and even jokes, I've always enjoyed reading about characters, and how they deal with obstacles. I guess theres a few stories in me I want to tell, so I just thought - why not?
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's the story of a twenty-something girl who lives in Manchester England, who has a mental age of about 10, and its set in the 1990s She doesn't understand a lot of the things that adults deal with, and because of her young mental age, she sees everything through innocent eyes. But she also sees things other people can not. She sees visions of the Grim Reaper, and when ever he appears, someone always dies.
Jessica is not like other boys and girls. She gets really bad headaches. She sees and hears things that others do not. She sees The Man In Black. When he touches someone they go to Heaven, or if they are naughty they go somewhere else. She sees him, but he never sees her. Her friends and loved ones don't know how to help her, but what will happen if The Man In Black comes for her?
