Anupam Srivastava is an author, a journalist and a communication professional working with the development sector in India. He is also an avid sportsman and loves the feel of a racket in his hands.
Anupam read English Literature at St Stephen’s College, but by then his school, the Motilal Nehru School of Sport, Rai, had turned him into a sportsman. So, he ran cross-country for his college, ran two half-marathons at 90 minutes each, while playing squash, badminton, and swimming. He now looks back on his swimming adventures in some wild canals and rivers as dangerous as many swimmers and bathers died there every year.
Anupam loves the outdoors, and is moved by music. He is learning to play the guitar so he can sing Simon and Garfunkel and Bob Dylan songs while he plays the guitar.
Anupam is married to Radhika Srivastava, a former journalist, currently with the development sector. They have two daughters, both of whom figure as characters in his novel, A Family Secret which, before being written, was told as a story to them.
