The Eyes of the Heart is Ms. McGhie’s first novel. She left the corporate world three years ago, becoming a contractor in the areas of public relations/marketing, project management, fund development, and event/meeting planning. For over 20 years, Brenda has been an active volunteer for not-for-profit agencies while living in Chicago and Minnesota.
Ms. McGhie currently resides in Chicago, IL Brenda’s family circle consists of her loving daughter, Valisa. Brenda wrote The Eyes of the Heart in the memory of the three family members who have gone on to a better place, her mother (Lillian), father (Clarence), and of course, Lilliclare (her best friend).
