Misty Gonzalez


Misty Gonzalez is an American interdisciplinary artist with main focus’ in environmental design and the performing arts and is founder and creative director of Hortus Environmental Design.

As an environmental designer collaborates with other artists creating architecture, landscape, lighting, furniture, products and graphic design. Believes synergies have far greater creative power than that produced by one mind. She has collaborated on projects with Kendrick Bangs Kellogg, Martha Stewart, Hauser + Wirth Galleries, and Columbia University GSAPP.

Misty is passionate about being a muse, arts activism, and development of talents in the arts and the revelation of art as an extension of self and society. As a Flamenco dancer and performer she has had the honor and pleasure of sharing the stage with performers from the Philip Glass Ensemble, Broadway and the Metropolitan, Glimmerglas, San Francisco and New York City Operas.
