Tiago is a former lawyer turned writer. He has travelled to over 80 countries, and loves his continuous adventure across the globe. When he's not writing, you can catch him eating beef rendang, practising yoga, or hanging out in an airport.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
With what a great deal of people would describe as 'doing nothing'. Sometimes it is that, but a lot of my time is spent on being present with whatever is around me - plants and the sky if I am outdoors, watching people be happy and enjoying life, eating delicious food, spending time with someone dear to me. Aside from that, I am looking at potential travel destinations, playing a piano or a keyboard, singing, or getting lost in my imagination - that last one is probably my favourite pastime.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I love mornings more than any other time of day, so little inspiration is needed. The stillness and silence of that sacred part of the day is more than enough.
