Tiffany L. Duhart

Biography

I'm young. If stigma had a voice (and it does) it would probably say I was too young to write . . . But I do. Author of the DOW series and Witherheart, I am a writer of the paranormal, preference in dark fantasy and YA romance. I live in NJ near the cape, adore pit-bulls and rottweilers, and have three siblings.

Bringing it back to the old Stoker way of vampirism. How can you not love it? An immensely refreshing pause from the mainstream backwash that has become of this genre. Not once was I ever bored reading this book. The desire to know what happened to these characters was like an ache, and I had to buy it. This is Dracula transformed into a woman’s dark fantasy, and it’s written well too. I had no choice but to like it. The cartoonish cover really betrays the quality of this book, I’m sorry to say, but content is king. The hate I felt for Vlad was a beautiful kind of hate, because it spurred emotion. The plot was handled well, the execution was handled well, and I really felt for Glynis, despite thinking her to be a strong headed spoiled brat at the beginning of the story. However, not once did I fully dislike her. She’s a girl of modern ages stuck in subservient times, so audiences of today can relate to her. I did.
