Tim Girard

Biography

I grew up in California. Out of high school I joined the Army, traveled the world, and returned to California to try raising my family. Perhaps it is my restlessness. Perhaps my curiosity. I tinker. I consider. I write. I write like mad until my fingers bleed! Then I write some more.
I do not seclude myself to one genre, one style. I am always looking for new influences. I have written songs, poetry (who hasn't?), kid's books (unpublished for now) articles (entirely too many!), and scripts (animation and moving into live action). I enjoy the old tales reworked in today's magic.
I have studied the art of storytelling. The sound of breath. The feel of metal. The taste of copper. I want you to remember it all. Feel it all. Hear it all. Be a part of it all. This is what a good story is all about.
Hopefully, as a storyteller, I am able to bring you along. To joy and sorrow. Terror and triumph. Nations rising and spirits crumbling. Come along, my friend. The story is about to begin!
