I just finished reading this children's e-book. It is a great little book for any family that wants to find a way to start a discussion about ways to handle bullies! Older children can easily read this on their own, and younger children will easily be able to enjoy this story as you read it with them. The illustrations are colorful and enjoyable. The description of the bully getting bigger and bigger and the victims getting smaller and smaller is great for talking about how it feels when you are being bullied. I especially enjoyed the discussion questions at the end of the book. I do wish the story showed Bart talking with a trusted adult about the bully, but the discussion questions in the back provide each family a chance to talk about all the different ways that they could handle dealing with bullies, so in the end, even not having that in the book is useful. All of the characters in the story, in my opinion, display all the feelings that any child might actually feel: fear, upset/anger/courage, etc. This book is definitely worth the purchase and the download.
