Tracey Jimerson

Biography

Tracey Jimerson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama at a very young age and lived there for 27 years. Married, with 5 children, Tracey is a Registered Nurse and full time wife and mom.

Tracey began writing when she was in Junior High School and was published locally in newspapers and Anthologies of Poetry. She began writing her first novel over 7 years ago and finally completed it on August 18, 2013. Ironically this was the date her grandfather passed away 20 years earlier. Her biggest "cheerleader" her grandfather was always writing as well and Tracey has 3 of his poems framed in her home for inspiration.

Tracey's debut novel TREE OF LIFE is available on Amazon.com for all Kindle devices, Iphone and Ipad as well as the Apple store and the Google PlayStore.

"I write because I am breathing. I have always been 'different', carrying notebooks and pens even as a kid, to write down thoughts. I would smell a certain smell, hear a certain sound, a song and my mind would write a mini outline for a story. Only another writer gets that. We think different."

Tracey currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama with Richard (her husband), her children, her dog Stark and 2 cats, Tigger and Molly..

Her second novel ISOLATION will be available in 2016.

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
I enjoy suspense novels the best. They must have a love story in them though (I am a hopeless romantic.) I love Jeffery Deaver, Stephen King, Alex Kave, Karin Slaughter and Dean Koontz. I good murder mystery always keeps my mind trying to stay one step ahead of the author!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
NOOK. I have a Kindle to but like my NOOK better. Honestly most books for me must be in paper form. There is something special about holding a real book with paper pages to make me feel like a REAL reader.
