Tom spent more than two decades writing for print and broadcast media. In addition to magazine articles and a broad range of copywriting projects, he devoted several years writing radio and television news. He also served as correspondent and broadcast consultant for the Associated Press. He now focuses solely on writing fiction and non-fiction about the Old West.
Most of the people who settled in the West didn’t wake up in the morning and strap on a gun or get involved in shootouts. But disorder was a way of life. In The Lawbreakers, novelist Tom Rizzo takes you behind-the-scenes to meet some of the gunmen and back shooters who roamed the frontier trying to take what wasn’t theirs.
In "Tall Tales from the High Plains & Beyond, Book Two: The Law Keepers,“ novelist Tom Rizzo introduces you to true stories about a cross section of courageous lawmen who figured out the best way to enforce law and order on their own terms. Tough and uncompromising, they kept long hours and covered huge territories to bring peace to the expanding frontier.
