Tiffany Woodruff

Hello, I am Tiffany. I have been writing since my pre-teens. It was my way to escape the world around me and get creative. I used to be very artistic but I haven't picked up my sketch pad all that much in these last few years unfortunately. I have been posting my stories to FanFiction as Matsuo Hotaru for several years as well. I finally decided I really wanted to give it my all and take the next step and get my works out there. I wanted to move beyond being an author to stories from popular shows and create my own characters. I have had a few story plots buzzing around my mind for a while and I hope you really appreciate the thought I am putting into them. I know each book I publish is very important so I will publish my best possible work on here.

A little more about me...

I am in school for Business Management. I opened my own shop on Etsy selling jewelry and apparel last year. I am a single mother of one, my sweet little girl is 7 years old. I have three 1 year old cats that I want to put on Bad Dog! :-)

I don't really just have one kind of category that my stories fit into so expect a variety from me since all the stories I have built a good platform to start typing from are very different from each other. I hope you love my works and will look forward to expecting more from me.

Smashwords Interview

What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean a lot to me. On FanFiction I encouraged them to leave comments on anything that came to mind or even message me. I used to write for so long with no one to read my work and it feels great to now have so many fans on FanFiction. I hope I will be able to have the same here. I really respect the opinions of others and understand my work may not be for everyone. I love readers and authors alike. It really puts a smile on my face when I see someone has read my book. I suppose having fans helps to inspire me to push forward and reading their ideas and thoughts makes me even happier.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing is one of my passions that stuck with me for over a decade. Back in the days where I was learning to play the piano and clarinet, I was also learning how to draw real life and still life. I had never thought much about writing a story but occasionally would get lyrics to a song in my head. After being further introduced into animation I began coming up with my own ideas of cool turns the cartoon could take. The first character I created was Arista to go with Dragon Ball Z. My father, who was putting me through some of those lessons had passed away and that is when I took to drawing and writing further to cope with the grief. He passed in my 6th grade year when I was only 12. It hit me hard. I had become busy for a while in high school but after my senior year I dived back in, uploading my works to FanFiction. I had been in the worst relationship I hope I will ever have but it brought me my daughter. Between writing and having the new addition it helped me to rebuild myself and gave me something good to do. I had never imagined I would be taking this step then to be publishing but after years of practice I finally feel confident and shocked quite a few that writing was a hobby of mine. No one really knew, not even those closest to me. Writing is definitely my way to break from reality and create something new.
