Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Only five? This is cruel!
Any of the A Song of Ice and Fire books by George RR Martin. I think these books are simply genius. From the complex plots taking place all over the universe, to the important events in small castles Martin somehow manages to weave together. I don't know how he does it.
The Vampire Academy novels by Richelle Mead, Frost Bite to be specific. This came to me in the days one could not type YA novel in a search engine, and not get back a vampire novel. While vamp books are awesome, something about Frost Bite, and the whole VA series stood out. If you ever discover what, let me know.
Anything by Ally Carter. Seriously. I have never read an Ally Carter YA novel that has not become one of the best novels I've ever read.
David Baldacci's Sean King and Michelle Maxwell books. David Baldacci is probably my favorite Crime Fic author. If not for the Camel Club series, he would have the same status as Ally Carter. Liking anything with author's name on it.
The Young Elites trilogy by Marie Lu. In terms of YA Fantasy, this is probably the best I've ever read, up there with Harry Potter. I loved the book and the characters so much, talking about it here will just make me sound silly.
What do you read for pleasure?
Novels in the following categories: YA, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Crime, Spy and military stuff, etc. To make my day, hand me anything with the names: Ally Carter, David Baldacci, Marie Lu, and I am becoming fond of Brandon Sanderson.

I totally enjoyed this. While the premise sounds somewhat unlikely, the story is still thrilling, and well written. I really hope there is more to this.

I bought and read the entire book. After reading it, I had to come back to Smashwords, because this book description doesn't seem quite accurate. Still enjoyed it though.
