Archaeologist, writer, mum, wife, dog walker, bargain shopper, taxi driver, cook, cleaner...this is me and I love it!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
No surprises that I am a huge fantasy reader. In my early reading years it was Dungeons and Dragons, then later The Hobbitt and Lord of the Rings ( I was fan BEFORE the films). I also love anything by William Horwood like the Duncton Chronicles and Raymond Feist to name a few. Essentially I am a prolific reader of fantasy...if I read anything else it would be a good historical story but no younger than the Romans, although having said that after doing English at University I did grow fond of Jane Austen and Chaucer.
In this the third adventure of Sarah Tremayne our time travelling heroine finds herself back in Roman Britain where nothing is as it seems. In the town of Aquae Sulis she comes face to face with a well known enemy who is intent on destroying the sacred spring and the goddess who dwells there.
In this the second book of The Adventures of Sarah Tremayne our heroine finds herself transported back in time some five thousand years to a world of megaliths and the goddess. But all is not well. The Brotherhood are stirring up chaos and Sarah must accept her destiny before she can come face to face with an old enemy.
What happens when a crazy old lady gives you a belated birthday present and then what happens when the very same present sends you back in time with no way of knowing how to get home? Find out in this the first Sarah Tremayne adventure. And Yes, there are Vikings!
