Tony Wilson

Hi - I moved to Spain with my lovely wife Melva (our 14th anniversary as I write this blurb) in September 2000, and have never regretted a day of it. Like the hero of my books (Andrew Michaels) I arrived here pre-retirement age, although in my case it was not through choice, if you want a hint of why, go to my website (link below) and look amongst the photos. A more detailed 'history' of yours truly is also there as well.
Upon arrival in Spain we did the finca (country villa) bit, but after 5 years it proved to much (physically) so we now live in a huge apartment in the centre of Crevillente, which is famous for carpets and shoes (Crevi - not our apartment).
We were also into caravanning (Spain, France & Portugal particularly) but again pain intervened.
We are now looking forward to taking up the Spanish Governments’ offer of highly subsidised Holidays as I have now fulfilled the age requirement.
Thank you for visiting my site.

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
When I bought a caravan - which may seem a bit strange, but when we moved into an apartment eight years ago (for health reasons) we decided to see more of the Iberian Peninsular (with bits of France thrown in) and that involved a lot of motorway driving.
With the cruise control switched on and my brain switched to auto I started to 'fantasize' - not that type - and create scenarios, to pass the time - but when I then started to 'edit' my thoughts I thought it a bit odd so I mentioned to Melva that "I might just have a book inside me - ha ha".
'Give it a try' she suggested - 'what have you to lose'.
'Me - for about nine months' -enter Road to Recovery.
Whats the recurring theme in your books?
Money, or rather 'what would you do if you won the pools, lottery etc'. How many times have you asked yourself, family or friends that question - well I just took it that one step further and made it happen for Andrew.
