Victoria N. Alexander


Victoria N. Alexander, author of Locus Amœnus (Permanent, 2015), Trixie (Smashwords, 2010), Naked Singularity (Permanent, 2003), and Smoking Hopes (Permanent, 1996) is co-founder of the Dactyl Foundation in NYC. With a PhD in English, specializing in Philosophy of Science, Alexander also writes on science, art and poetics. Her non-fiction titles include The Biologist's Mistress: Rethinking Self-Organization in Art, Literature, and Nature (Emergent Publications, 2011). Her favorite authors are Nabokov and Stanislaw Lem, and she lives on a small organic sheep farm upstate with her husband and son.
