Dr. Troy Carr has a Ph.D. in clinical child psychology. For more than 15 years, Dr. Carr has worked with children and adolescents who are struggling at school and at home. Dr. Carr has worked in the public school system as a school psychologist and knows how difficult the academic and social pressures are for children inside the classroom. Students often struggle to "fit in" and all possess unique strengths.
About 8 years ago, Dr. Carr began writing for children and young adults. Trista of Alacar was born from his work with children and adolescents as well as his perspective from raising three girls. Hopefully, all readers of Trista of Alacar will take something positive from this story.
