I purchased this book for my niece last month and she’s already done reading it. She’s looking for the second edition which hasn’t even been written yet. Not sure if the Author is going to write anymore of this one. This book was provided to me as a birthday present, and It’s one of the best presents that I ever received. I really admire the comedy, and 1980’s lingo used to describe key points. The way that drug cartels are described in this book is absolutely phenomenal ! Devin finds himself in one risky line of work. At the end, you see Devin breathing hard while he converses with the new S.E.C. Inspector. So, the book really goes into great detail about Devin’s feelings, and physical reactions to fear. It appears that it wasn’t an easy book to write. The Author must have learned about the life of a wall street business professional. In sum, I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book that keeps you interested in upcoming events. Great Book !

  • A Dying Breed: Insights Into The African American Question on June 02, 2015

After reading this book in it's entirety, I found it educational to read and undoubtedly truthful from beginning to end. It's certainly a book that is written for all people but prescribed to African-American males. The Author describes his opinion about Black: values, economics, employment opportunities, and relationships. In addition, he describes his vision as the way he would like to experience societal changes along America's multi-cultural divide. It you want to read about the "real issues" that affect America's Black Males then, you'll find this book rewarding and collectively enlightening. Excellent Author !!!
  • You're a Bad Wife Because You Can't Clean the House - A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your Home Mother-in-Law Approved on Jan. 23, 2016

My understanding of the fundamental truths of social conditioning is one that I feel the need to share after reading this incredible book. The natural relationship, and interaction between a Wife, and Mother is both dynamic, and complex. Typically, there's two options that one has in this unique scenario. The Man is commonly the head of the household. The Wife is the Man's life partner. There's no competition between a Wife, and Mother because they both share two distinct roles in the family unit. The friction, and challenges remain, and continue when roles become intertwined. It is always the positive approach for a Wife to maintain control of her domain, her house. When the Mother visits, she is a guest but entitled to considerations in terms of respect by virtue of her role within the family unit. The Mother should not present as a superior to a Wife but has the expertise, and experience to provide advice, and assistance if such support is requested or supported by the family unit. The Wife must demonstrate to her family that she is capable of holding down the duties of keeping her house in order. It is not a requirement for her to demonstrate to a Mother, but paramount for her to keep her house clean for the sake of love for her immediate family. The best way to avoid challenges between a Mother, and Wife is to conform to social norms of the respective roles as mentioned without animosity or reserve. Through experience, I've found this approach simultaneously fulfilling, and rewarding. This book is more than advise. It provides the social conditioning that makes the tasks of a Wife alot better in the long run. This is a very effective book, and I enjoyed it because it speaks a plethora of truth into the Wife's need to attend to her duties in effort to improve the relationship between her and a Man's Mother.
