Valorie Hein

Valorie Hein is a newcomer to the writing world. She was born and raised in beautiful Northeastern Washington, where she still resides with her husband, two sons and Viszlador (half Labrador, half Viszla).

Valorie enjoys working with businesses and organizations to improve the economic climate of the local area. However, her true passion lies in the world of writing. She hopes to one day make a career of writing and bring to life the many characters that live in her imagination.

“It has taken me five years to finally self-publish The Burden. I owe my husband much credit for supporting me through this process, it was his belief in me that helped me finish. It has been my life's dream to write. My mom tells me that as young as five, I’d make up stories and act them out with my little brother."

Valorie is fascinated with the supernatural world and likes a strong female protagonist. “Life can be so crazy busy and stressful. I want to create fantasies where people can escape their troubles, where they can laugh and cry and live in another world.”
