About the author: Charity Ayres is a Navy Veteran and current resident to Hampton Roads with an active-duty Navy husband and two daughters. She teaches high school English and is currently completing her Masters of Creative Writing. Aside from spending time with her family, two bark-happy dogs, and three cats, Charity likes to read, write, and run. Other novels include: Loki Bound, and Secret in the Wings. Charity will have a short story published this year in the 84th Annual Writer’s Digest Competition Collection for her short, inspirational story: “What’s Left Behind: Daddy’s Girl”. She has been published in various online publications for fiction and non-fiction, though most often in one of the many fantasy genres.
