  • High School Football – The Temptation (first in the high school series) on Jan. 06, 2011

If you're looking for a book that would appeal to middle grade and YA boys, search no further. This was an easy read, suitable for anyone from junior high on up. The characters are true to life, and feel like people you already know, or would like to know. Well worth the read.
  • Dexter By A Nose on Aug. 08, 2011

"Dexter by a Nose" is a beautiful story about a mixed-breed colt who dreams of being a racehorse. While almost everyone around him tells him it can't be done, Dexter is determined to prove them wrong. There's a timeless message in this book, about believing in yourself even when the odds are against you. I admit to getting a little choked up near the end, as Dexter begins to long for the simpler days of his youth. I read stories like this as a child, and I still love them as an adult. I highly recommend this book.
  • Amazon on Sep. 27, 2011

Weinstein's "Amazon" is a fast-paced adventure that takes the reader to the exciting world of Greek gods, warrior queens, and fire-breathing dragons. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read, and I highly recommend it for middle-grade and up. If you're looking for an action-packed adventure, you'll find it here. This book delivers.
