JoAnn Dunlap Bayne

My early years were spent in northern California on a chicken ranch. My family moved to Southeast Alaska in 1952 when I was six, so my father could be a commercial fisherman. I lived in Alaska until after high school, when I moved to Texas to get married.

We have lived in Alaska, Texas, Alaska again, Texas again, Wisconsin, central California, northern California, Kansas, very southern California, very northern California and NW Washington - where we have bought our retirement home. No more gypsy wandering for us.

We have three grown children and three grandsons, two here in Bellingham, Wa and one in WV.

I am also a nature photographer as well as a quilter and crafter. We enjoy day trips and extended vacations in Washington, in search of the wonders of nature.
