Fabulous!One of the most tender, original and beautifully written books I have read this year. The characters jump off the page. Fast paced surprises and twists. and may I mention the star of the show? Echo. What an ignamatic and funny alien. Definately up to something but I love her anyway!! Great second book in a series that promises a wonderful and original saga.

As soon as questions are answered, JK Accinni wams me with new surprises and mysteries. Netty, Wil and Baby are back, very vunerable and mysterious but I learned what had happened to them after they were murdered. So many touching scenes. Barney's death under the moon, the reserection that followed. Happy moments; Dezi and his sudden willingness to care for an almost dead piglet (I see redempting coming)the surprise appearance of the slaughtered pitbulls, so many more. I love the individual reactions to the Hive and how they are now forced to care for the animals. Baby and Echo are up to something but I think Echo is gething dragged into it. Who is the shadow? What is with the tiger's revelation that "The One' is a she not a he. I'm really getting into this, what a great series. Wish I had someone else to discuss it with. What the heck is with Seth?? Major sicko.Can wait to see what the author is going to do to him!I know it will be delicious.

This is beautifully written series that I am mad about! When ever I think I have this story figured out she whams me with a surprise. I even love her villians as dispicable as they are. I feel like I know their every wart and the story about Armoni and Kelly childhood...holy god, not for the teens even though I know they will love to get their hands on this series.
