The Singing Swallow
by Willow Fledge
Horatio, the singing swallow, is a proud little swallow who believes he has the best singing voice in the wetlands, until another, most melodic, swallow flies in. This fills Horatio with emotions he’s never known and much self-doubt. Grappling with jealousy and anger, he retreats to contemplate the essence of himself and returns to learn, further, of the gift that humility and courage can bring.
