William Campbell


William Campbell was born in Oklahoma City and grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where he received a bachelors in Education and a doctorate in Speech and Hearing Science.
During the Vietnam war he served in Southeast Asia with the 388th Tactical Fighter Squadron as an F-4 Phantom and F-105 Thunderchief automatic flight control systems specialist with the United States Air Force, where he received the Expert Marksmanship Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Dr. Campbell has spent over twenty years as a corporate educational consultant and is the author of many Organizational Development books and seminars as well as technical and educational publications on a variety of subjects. He has lectured and presented several research papers at the Juilliard School of Music’s Symposia for Care of the Professional Voice and has been a certified facilitator for Dr. Stephen R. Covey's The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People seminars.
Dr. Campbell is the father of three sons; he currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri. When he's not writing, he's either visiting his sons or playing keyboards or electric bass for several “blues” bands around the Kansas City area.
While on his many trips to Alaska he fell in love with the state and the people; many of his novels are “filmed” in and around Anchorage and offer his readers a taste of America’s Last Frontier.
