Maan Khamis is a lifelong God-seeker. He spent years studying Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. His lengthy analysis of the Old Testament sheds some light on its evil nature. He posits, Only Satan embraces the actions and characters presented in the Old Testament.
The truth is self-evident.
The Truth is eternal.
The truth is God.
The truth does not require apologists or theologians.
The Truth is discovered, not learned.
Your soul recognizes the truth.
Your soul is one with the truth.
Maan dedicates this book to his adopted country, USA, that he affectionately describes as the land of the free wherein such book is possible. He is a technologist and holds a position as a senior software architect in Dayton, OH.
In your book, Chosen by Satan, you affirmed that the Old Testament is a product of evil; why?
It is evident to us what evil is. It is selfish human ambitions; it is greed, it is racism, it is killing or raping children, it is lying, it is sacrifice of animals and humans, etc. The Old Testament is the most horrendous depiction of evil behaviors ever. Yet, we are told to believe it as the inspired words of our creator. Jesus wisely stated, “You shall know them by their fruit.” The Old Testament is a forest of poisonous fruit. Christianity and Islam face the same problem: they built their religion on the evil foundation of The Old Testament and its Lord. True God is the eternal truth. The eternal truth is independent of time or geographic location. The eternal truth does not produce suffering. Religions, on the other hand, are subject to time and location which renders them ultimately unreal. If you were born in a different geographic location or during a different time in history, you would have different religious truth. Temporary reality is a projection of thoughts. If your reality is based on ancient myths, your frame of reference is distorted accordingly. You are only able to see the ultimate truth when all your entrenched thoughts are abandoned.
What is the ultimate reality?
The ultimate reality is life. Life creates; life evolves; life manifests; life is eternal. We are a manifestation of life; we are eternal. We perceive reality based on our learned thoughts. E.g., a Muslin, a Jew, an atheist, and a Christine might witness a child being saved from a burning house. The Christine would thank Jesus for saving the child. The Muslim would thank Allah for saving the child. The Jew would admire the child good luck. An atheist would thank the fireman for his bravery. Who saved the child? It all depends on what you believe. Hence, your entrenched beliefs control your interpretation of reality. Think of the concepts of heaven and hell. Why are they necessary? How would you perceive the world if you abandoned these concepts? Go to a park on a beautiful spring day. Can heaven be any more beautiful than that? Why do we demand more from life?
Followers of the Old Testament (OT) are guided by error. The OT Lord and his conspirators are the epitomai of evil. Humanity will not reach enlightenment until all copies of the OT are removed and thrown into a pit of fire where they will feel at home. The OT should be displayed in mass serial killers section in all public libraries. It is time for us to receive overdue apologies from the Jews.
