Wolfgang Savage is the pseudonym of a Brisbane writer who has been a drunken rock journalist, a drunker drummer in bands that maybe only about 100 people have ever heard, and a thoroughly professional white-collar desk jockey working in a suburban data mine.
He lives in Australia, on a hill.
What is your writing process?
I often write in 20 minutes bursts. Something comes into my mind and I quickly bash it out.
What do you read for pleasure?
I prefer the sex, drugs, and rock & roll genre. Also, gritty stories both fiction and non-fiction.
A drug-fuelled beach horror set in Australia. Put simply, a snake gets addicted to meth and ends up raising hell in Surfers Paradise during Schoolies. One reviewer said: "Like the bastard child of Housos and Hunter S Thompson as imagined by Roger Corman and Barry McKenzie."
