I was born and raised in the north of England and began to write stories when I was in High School. In 1995 I moved to Colorado with my husband and daughter, and have lived here ever since. I self published two short stories in 2009, which received many good reviews encouraging me to write a novel.
All of my stories are based on my crazy past. Trouble and adventure follow me no matter where I live, and yes, I sometimes have promonitions and visitations. I'm used to it so it doesn't alarm me anymore (most of the time), but instead gives me great writing material.
Dead of July was three years in the making and is the book I hope will launch my career as a writer. I'm bursting with stories, so join me, I think you'll enjoy the ride.
What are you working on next?
Re-writing my first short story, which will be released later this year.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, Frederick Forsyth and Michael Crighton.
Sheila was only five years old when she came face to face with her first ghost. When she was seven she had a terrifying premonition which later came true. Sheila's Grandfather visited her less than an hour after his death. While living in Germany, Sheila encountered a different type of ghost. A nasty malevolent Russian, and this visitation almost killed her.
