  • The Mating: The Original Law of the Lycans Story on Jan. 02, 2013

Overall: I had a hard time with this book because of the flow. I really liked the characters and the plot of the story, but i felt that there was too many extra details and not enough contact between our two main characters. Characters: Elise & Sexy Alpha Male Kane Plot: Elise is kind of forced to marry Kane to make an allegiance between her father's pack and the pack in the west. Well at first she believes that is still in love with her best friend Bryan that she grew up with, but has all these weird feelings for Kane. In between Elise getting adjusted to the new pack and other pack drama this CRAZY BITCH MARLA starts even more drama. The best part of the book was the last 4 chapters. Page Turner: Yes and No Series Cont: Yes Recommend: If you enjoy a werewolf romance then yes.
  • Forever Fae on Jan. 05, 2013

I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. Stars: 4.5 Overall: I felt the magic dripping off the pages. This book had me laughing, crying and a little lusty at some points. =) My only compliant is that i felt the characters descriptions and their histories were just kind of pushed onto you in the beginning of the book. I just wished she would've given the characters a little more time to delvope. Other then that i LOVED the story and i really enjoyed the new take on fae world. Plot: We meet Princess Calista and she is about to go to the match and watch to see her wins the right to be her guardian. Prince Ryder happens to be there and they instantly feel the connection. Princess Calista best friend Merrick wins the right to be her guardian much to Prince Ryder's dismay. All the while there is this evil sorcerer trying to steal the princess. After a love triangle and Princess Calista getting taken away and getting brought back things start to settle and a marriage happens. Queen Calista and King Ryder make up the new Fall Court, but our author leaves us with the sorcerer looking for the next in line. Page Turner: Yes! Series Cont: I'm so glad that it does! Recommend: If you believe in fairies then ... YES! Side Note: I can't wait for the next book. I really hope it's about Meliantha and Ryder's brother. =D Another Side Note: I REALLY LOVED that the heroine was KICK-ASS and not the dismal in distress type.
  • Ties To The Blood Moon on March 13, 2013

I received this book as a R2R from the Lovers of Paranormal Group! Stars: 3.5 Pros: I really enjoyed watching Gen's character develop from awkward teen to bad ass Alpha Female. The Legend about the princess was also a favorite scene of mine. Cons: The beginning reminded me a little of Twilight and i felt that every other chapter someone was mad or crying about something. Plus the "romance seems to be happening way to quickly for my liking. It's been maybe 3 weeks and they already saying the 3 words. Overall: The adventure and action was the best part of the book for me. The author was able to describe the book in a way that i felt like i was right in the middle of the action with them. The ending also blew me away because i didn't expect all that to happen. lol I also can't wait to see where the William - Gen - Joseph love triangle leads. Characters: Genevieve ; William ; Zane : Luna & Joseph Page Turner: It starts out a little slow, but once you get filled in you won't put the book down Series Cont: Yes Recommend: If you enjoyed reading the Twilight Books, then this book is for you.

I received this book as a R2R from the Lovers of Paranormal Group on . Stars: 5 Overall: OMG ; I still can't get over how this book ended. I felt like i was given all the answers and BAM book 2 done. This book was just AMAZING and I'm still unsure how to describe it. lol The action was incredible and heart stopping at times. Ms. Waldrop's writing made me feel like i was right in the middle of the action, fighting with them trying to save the world from one VERY crazy man. My only con was the romance part of the book. I felt like everyone more or less just kept making googly eyes at each other for most of the book. No one really came out and said their true feelings. Well expect for the very last chapter, but that's for the next book. This book was a very fun and exciting read. Page Turner: I couldn't put the book down. Series Cont: Yes and I CANNOT WAIT TO READ IT!! Recommend: YES!!! Side Note: I enjoyed this book so much more than the first and i'm really glad that the author listened to her own ideas and not someone else. =)

I received this book for an honest review from the Lovers of Paranormal Group. Stars: 5+++ Overall: This book was an incredible adventure & romance. It had fighting, witty one liners, really good sexy loving, dream sharing & even some Dragon flying. Also I loved that in each book that main heroine gets tougher and stronger. Sorcha doesn't need any man to defend and take care of her. I LOVED THAT
