Courtney Young

Courtney Elizabeth Young is a 25-year-old poet, novelist, artist, runner, backpacker and world traveler. She has road-tripped all across the continental US and has independently lived and toured Hawaii, Ghana, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. A former "outlaw", she now independently organizes charity events in her community. Her writing is aimed to reach out to people struggling with drug and/or alcohol abuse, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse, suicidal thoughts and/or self-mutilation, eating disorders, and mental illness. A survivor of all that she writes, she lives to encourage those facing crippling issues to heal and become happy and healthy. A proud owner of the MAOA-L genetic mutation, she has enjoyed her ride through life this far on everything from camels to crocodiles.
