What is your e-reading device of choice?
I prefer the devices that use eInk or ePaper screens rather than LCD or oLED used on most tablet devices.
eInk / ePaper, like the screens used for a Kindle2 or Kindle paperwhite, are the closest an e-reading device can come to a real book. They are able to run for weeks or months on a single battery charge, and these displays use a reflective screen. A reflective screen is readable in direct sunlight, whereas an LCD or oLED screen will often not be readable.
If you are looking for color or more of a tablet, like an iPad, then get a tablet.
If you are looking for an electronic book, then look for a device with eInk or ePaper displays.
