What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
There are so many enjoyments when it comes to writing for me, but I'd have to say the greatest of them all is that it provides me with an inner peace to see my ideas take shape on paper. Yes, I still write by hand before taking the story to a computer. I love seeing the story unfold in my journal, knowing I created those characters, that story line, and those moments.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything...lol! As a new author, fandom was not something I focused on. I wrote because I enjoyed it (and because my characters refused to shut up until their story was written). It wasn't until I started to share my writing with my family and friends that I realized how much I loved their appreciation of my work. My first true fan, my friend Rob, has been such a motivator for me. I can honestly say that fans help an author stay motivated during the toughest moments. Seeing his excitement about my characters and his angst over what they experience has brought me such great joy (hehe...yes, I take enjoyment in knowing my readers will suffer along with my characters! Ar'ch, Sofia, Rafe, and Angel shouldn't be the only ones suffering. lol!). ;-) Having him pester me about showing him new chapters and showing him new plots thrills me and pushes me forward! Fans have SO much power, and I look forward to making them very, very happy with my novels.
