James L Darby
James L. Darby is the oldest of 4 boys. He has been married for 7 years to his beautiful wife, Monica and they have 4 girls and 1 boy between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.
He dreamed of publishing his first novel for 3 years. He was inspired by a quote by his pastor, "You don't need money, only an idea. Ask God for an idea and your money will come afterward." He was also influenced by his father, also a published author.
James wrote the story "Don't Forget What Grandma Said" to encourage people who have had to go through hard times in their life without the proper guidance. He created Grandma Lois' character to inspire those who wish they would have had someone in their life at a young age to steer them in the right direction.
He currently works in the Community Outreach Program at his Church. The ministry gives food to needy families in the community. He feels uplifted and blessed when doing this service and enjoys servicing his community in the name of the Lord.
