My name is Francia Wick and I have been a yoga teacher and trainer for 47+ years. I worked as a Technical Writer for over 35 years, so when I wanted to change my primary career, I naturally chose yoga and wellness as my passion. I studied initially with Phyllis Steinburger of Cincinnati, Ohio and most recently with Janice George of Shiva Shakti Synthesis on Indianola Avenue in Clintonville, Ohio. I now work my magic at the YMCA of Gahanna (Silver Sneakers, Hatha Yoga, Weight Resistant Yoga), Wyandotte Athletic Club (Partner Yoga, Silver Sneakers Yoga, Weight Resistant Yoga, Hatha Yoga), and Grove City Evans Center, Hatha Yoga. I also have a Yoga Studio in my home and teach private lessons two nights a week, Monday and Thursday. I teach in private homes for specific issues. For example, specific restoration asanas for Diabetes, Parkinsons Disease, Arthritis, Psoriasis, and Cancer as well as Lupus.

These easy yoga postures can be completed in a chair (even a wheelchair) within 30 minutes at one sitting, or two sittings of about 15 minutes each.
